FUN ON THE SLOPE & WINTER ENJOYMENT

Skiing in Ötztal stands for kilometer long, perfectly groomed winter pleasure for all the family. Unimagined highlights await off the groomed ski slopes: winter hiking and snowshoeing, tobogganing, ski touring or cross-country skiing. And afterwards we warmly recommend a visit to the in-house sauna or the Aqua Dome - Tirol Therme Längenfeld which can be easily reached in about 15 minutes by car.

„Sölden ski area“

31 state-of-the-art lifts whisk winter sport fans up to 3340 meters above sea level, and then 144 kilometers of perfectly prepared slopes lead downhill again. 2 glacier ski areas including snow-making systems provide absolute snow guarantee from October through May. In addition, Sölden is Austria's one and only ski area to have 3 three-thousand-meter high peaks, also known as the BIG3, which are accessible by mountain gondolas. The James Bond Adventure World 007 Elements, also located directly in the Sölden ski area, is always worth a visit.

„Ötztal Super Skipass“

The Ötztal Super Skipass bundles 361 kilometers of ski slopes, 90 mountain lifts and 6 ski areas. Winter sports enthusiasts can choose from popular destinations such as Sölden and Gurgl as well as from the family-friendly ski areas of Hochoetz-Kühtai, Niederthai, Gries and Vent. If you purchase a ski ticket for 3+ days, you can visit all the valley's ski areas without limits.

„Off the beaten slopes“

Even the most uncompromising skiers admit it: When the slopes are already closed or the skis just stay in the storage room, this holiday resort surprises with unimagined variety. Swimming fun, deep relaxation in the thermal spa bath and gentle snow sports make the Sölden experience really complete.

„Tobogganing fun“

In wintry Ötztal, the toboggan - apart from skis - is one of the best ways to speed down the mountains. The newly built toboggan run leads from Gaislachkogl's middle station directly to Sölden. It is illuminated once a week in the evening. Covering a total length of 7.3 km, it is one of the longest toboggan runs in Austria.
